Your Resident Advisors (RA) are here to help you transition into the residence, to plan and implement educational and social programming, to be available to advise students on academic or personal issues and to promote a sense of community within the Residence.
The Residence Outreach Worker provides coaching and support to students of the residence community. As students enter into or continue through their post secondary education, they may find themselves facing many different issues. Our Residence Outreach worker is here for you! Some topics that may surface can include:
- Suicidal ideation
- Negative talk
- And more…
Additionally, the Residence Outreach Worker will be able to help navigate you through the resources located on campus and in the community. Staying connected and using resources available can be a big part of your personal and academic success.
The Residence Outreach Worker works with the Campus Health Centre, but is located directly in the Residence. The Outreach Office is located on the first floor of the South Village Residence in the lobby. Remember, all services are confidential.
