Resident Advisor

Your Resident Advisors (RA) are here to help you transition into the residence, to plan and implement educational and social programming, to be available to advise students on academic or personal issues and to promote a sense of community within the Residence. The RA’s are available through the Residence Life Office (South Village – 1st floor ext. 8101, Simcoe Village – 1st floor ext. 8004).

Senior Resident Advisor

The role of the Senior Resident Advisor is given to a returning Resident Advisor (RA) who is responsible for not only acting as an RA but also acting as a liaison between the management and the residents.

Residence Academic Leader

Your Residence Academic Leaders (RAL’s) are a part of the Resident Advisor (RA) team and are here to help you with your transition into College with a primary focus on academics. The RAL’s plan and implement educational programming and can advise and assist you with finding the resources to further your educational success.

Outreach Worker

As your Outreach worker I provide 1:1 life coaching and support regarding issues such as:

  • Relationships
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Moods
  • Suicidal ideation
  • Negative talk
  • Self-esteem
  • And more…

I will also help you navigate the resources on campus and in the community. Regardless of whether your concerns are big or small, I can be used as your in-residence Campus Health Centre support to help you have a mentally and physically healthy semester.

I work for the Campus Health Centre but you will find me conveniently located on the second floor of the South Village Residence. My services are confidential in a safe non-judgemental space.
